Associate Degrees

Education - Physical Education Concentration Grades K-12, A.S.

Students can earn an associate degree in Physical Education, which provides graduates with the first two years of instruction in preparation for teaching physical education from kindergarten to grade 12. Graduates can transfer to a four-year institution to earn a bachelor’s degree and prepare to take the state teacher licensing exam.

Kinesiology and Sport, A.S.

Students can earn an associate degree in Kinesiology and Sport, which prepares graduates to transfer to a four-year institution to earn a bachelor’s degree in sports medicine, sports studies or exercise science.

Kinesiology and Sport, Sports Management Concentration, A.S.

Students can earn an associate degree in Kinesiology and Sport with a concentration in Sports Management. Graduates complete the first two years of education to prepare for transfer for a four-year institution to earn a bachelor’s degree in sports administration, sports marketing, sports media, sports management or recreational sports.

Certificate Programs

Physical Fitness Leadership, C.P.C.

Students can earn a certification in Kinesiology and Sport with a concentration in Physical Fitness Leadership. Students who complete the certification may apply course credits to an associate degree in Kinesiology and Sport, Wellness and Exercise Concentration.
