VINCENNES UNIVERSITY ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIPS

Vincennes University offers 4 academic scholarships: Academic or Technical Honors Diploma, Blue and Gold, Presidential, and Valedictorian/Salutatorian.

New students must complete the admissions application and requirements. All students must file the FAFSA each academic year. Recipients are eligible for only one Academic scholarship per academic year (fall and spring semesters only, summer is not included). These scholarships are not program-specific.

The award is contingent upon enrollment at Vincennes University and meeting all criteria for the specific scholarship awarded. All final high school transcripts for scholarship recipients will be verified and awards will be rescinded if scholarship criteria are not met. Recipients of the academic scholarships will be notified via email.

STEPS TO ACCEPT YOUR ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP

          1. Log in to your VUX account.
          2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and use the "Discover More" button to locate the Financial Aid card.
          3. On the Financial Aid card, click on the Award Offers and then click on View Award Offers.
          4. Select the correct Award Year from the drop-down box at the top right of the page, for example, 2023–2024. .
          5. Scroll down through your Unsatisfied Requirements and click on the link “Academic Scholarship Agreement”.
          6. Follow the directions to submit your acknowledgment and accept the award.

VINCENNES UNIVERSITY FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS

We will take care of finding all of the foundation scholarships you are eligible for at Vincennes University. Our scholarships are awarded on a rolling basis. To see a listing of all VU foundation scholarships and criteria for each, click the link below.
All scholarship applicants are strongly encouraged to complete the FAFSA - (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) every year.


Apply for 2024 Summer Foundation Scholarships

If summer 2024 is your first semester at VU, no additional scholarship form is necessary. Your application for admission contains your scholarship application and all the information we need.
If you are already a student at VU, just submit the scholarship application. Click the link below to access the application online. 


2024-2025 Foundation Scholarships

We’ve made applying simple for everyone! There is no additional scholarship form to complete for new and current students. Your application for admission to VU contains all the information we need to determine if you meet the criteria for our VU foundation scholarships. If you qualify, we will notify you via email to check out your new scholarship.

Housing Scholarship

The Residential Housing Scholarship offers $1,500 for the 2024-2025 academic year, which translates to $750 per semester, to both incoming and returning students. To qualify for this scholarship, students must submit the housing application before the deadline of May 1st. Those receiving financial aid must also be in good standing for Standards of Academic Progress. The scholarship exclusively covers accommodation within VU residence halls. Apartments are not included under this scholarship program.
