The Jan. 24 Phillip Phillips concerts at Vincennes University are now sold out. Due to heavy VU student demand for tickets, only a limited number of tickets were available to the public, even though a second performance was scheduled in response to that demand.
First preference was given to VU students since the performance was booked by the Student Activities office as part of the annual entertainment plan for VU students, paid for by student activity fees. With an 800-seat house at the Red Skelton Performing Arts Center, the first show quickly sold out and a waiting list was created for the second show. Due to the popularity of Phillip Phillips, a very limited number of tickets were still available for sale on Friday morning and again sold out within a short period of time.
Vincennes University Student Activities is excited to provide this type of opportunity to its students and attempts to make events open to the community whenever possible.
