What are the benefits?
Leadership Knox County will enable our community to prosper and grow through the increased effectiveness of current and future leaders.  LKC will help businesses continue to succeed empowering citizens with better communication skills, community visioning and knowledge of community resources and leaders. LKC will improve quality of life by helping individuals discover their own leadership and learning styles, and project a more confident and positive image.

When will the classes be offered?
Classes meet one day per month for nine months beginning in September. Registration is $599 per person which includes tuition, resource materials, refreshment breaks, lunch, a retreat, and a graduation dinner. Leadership Knox County participation is limited, thus early registration is encouraged.  Registration can be paid by the individual or employer. Individuals are encouraged to pay at least a portion of the fee. Scholarships may be available.

Who will take the lead?
Leadership Knox County is designed for current and prospective civic-minded citizens representing the communities within Knox County. They are individuals who already possess the enthusiasm and dedication so important to our county's development. However, if Knox County is to meet the challenge of the future, its leaders must also possess 21st Century leadership knowledge and skills in order to be flexible and adapt to a constantly changing society.
