Placement and Entry Testing Policy
All persons MUST present a photo ID to test.
The Assessment Center offers the Accuplacer placement test to any individual
enrolling at Vincennes University, or contemplating enrollment at VU. The Center will test ANY
individual desiring to take the placement test, however, the following guidelines should be
considered and observed:
- If at all possible, the prospective student should
FIRST fill out an application to the University. This provides a "home" for the
test scores and minimizes the possiblity of scores not being posted to the student record and
available to advisors for course registration.
- The test is
required of all entering students as an ENTRY test, whether needed for placement
or not.
- The test may be taken only
ONCE.
- Students should
take the test seriously and understand that the scores will determine their
placement in their reading, English, and math classes.
-
Retests are NOT allowed.
