Vincennes University provides professional certification testing services for
students of the University as well as the general public. Typically, there is a definitive protocol
of instruction in class as well as practical training and experience that must be completed before
testing. You should check with your instructor to verify that you are qualified to take the
certification test(s) that you desire.
The Assessment Center provides testing services through various test "sponsors".
Most of the testing is now done on computers, usually linked with the hosting service via the world
wide web.
Those who wish to take a professional certification test must register with the
Assessment Center and make an appointment for their exam. The Center will supply the proper
information with regard to scheduling, registration, and payment of fees.
The following types of testing are available:
- Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Certifications
- Microsoft Networking / Computing Certifications
- A+ (CompTia) Electronics Certifications
- Cisco Networking Certifications
- Microsoft Office Specialist Certifications (MOS)
Additional certification tests for other careers/professions may be offered through the test

When reporting to test, you
MUST present at least
TWO pieces of official identification,
ONE of which
MUST be a
PHOTO ID. In addition, you may be required to provide to the Center,
documentation or endorsements from your instructor or school verifying your
eligibility to take a given exam.
NO ONE WILL BE TESTED WITHOUT PROPER IDENTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION! NO
EXCEPTIONS!
All Certification testing is by APPOINTMENT ONLY! NO WALK-IN TESTING ALLOWED.
YOU MAY NOT BRING ANY STUDY MATERIALS, CELL PHONES, PAGERS, NOTES, BOOKS,
BACKPACKS, etc.,OR AIDS OF ANY KIND INTO THE TESTING ROOM UNLESS AUTHORIZED FOR USE DURING THE
TEST.
