The Vincennes University Honors Program is open to outstanding students of all
majors who wish to develop their talents to the fullest. Through a combination of honors courses,
leadership opportunities, cultural events, and creative activity, the Honors Program is designed to
enhance the intellectual lives of the students who participate as well as the University's academic
community.
Students in the Honors Program are distinguished by their participation in this
special program. Academic honors (see catalog) may be an additional distinction for Honors students
as well as other students at VU.

The Honors Program definitely has its advantages, including scholarships,
enrichment activities, and special academic benefits.

Methods of Application
Option 1 - For U.S. students
- Have a minimum SAT score of 1100 or minimum ACT score of 25.
- Complete and Submit Honors Program application forms (hot link below )
Option 2 - For transfer students and those already enrolled at VU
- Complete 12 credit hours of accredited college level course work
- Hold a minimum cumulative college grade point average of 3.3
- Hold a minimum grade of B in either HEW 101 or HEW 112 (or equivalency)
- Complete and Submit Honors Program application forms (hot link below )
Option 3 - For International students
- Minimum TOEFL score of 528
- Complete and submit Honors Program application materials (hot link below)
- Minimum of 93 on the Reading portion of the CPTS placement test*
- Minimum of 120 on the English portion of the CPTS placement test*
- Minimum of 53 on the Math portion of the CPTS placement test*
- Complete and submit Honors Program application materials (hot link below)
*This test is provided upon arrival at Vincennes University.
