Myron P. Boehm Photograph Collection

Myron P. Boehm, (June 29, 1904-June 7, 1977) was an educator, historian and photographer in Knox County, Indiana. Born in Chicago, Myron was the son of Lawrence and Estella Freeman Boehm. On June 29, 1929 he married Doris Ruth Kinney, who was born Oct. 29, 1907 in Dubuque, IA, the daughter of Miles and Grace Walford Kinney.

Myron was a school teacher in the South Knox School Corporation and was a former principal of Sandborn and Bruceville high schools.

He served as an officer in the Old Northwest Bicentennial Corporation and was an employee of the National Park Service Memorial Visitors Center.

Lewis Historical Library houses the Boehm photograph collection. For many years Myron photographed historical buildings, events, and other items of Vincennes and surrounding areas.
