1. Access to Scifinder is limited to Vincennes University faculty, staff and students.
2. Please register for Scifinder access. You must register using a Vincennes University email address. After registering, you will receive an email from Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS) with instructions to activate your registered login.To inquire on how to register for SciFinder access, please contact the Reference Department at (libref@vinu.edu).
3. Each time you access SciFinder, you will need to login with your registered ID and password. Up to three simultaneous accesses are available at a time.
4. The access will expire if SciFinder is not in use for 20 minutes.
5. SciFinder is a research resource that allows you to explore literature from many scientific disciplines including biomedical sciences, chemistry, engineering, material science and agricultural science.
6. The web version of SciFinder provides access to abstracts and direct links to many journal articles and patent content.
