Agribusiness—the industries servicing agriculture or providing value-adding processes to agricultural products—accounts for one in four jobs and nearly one-fifth of the U.S. gross national product.  Businesses from large multinational corporations to new input supply and emerging food manufacturing continue their strong demand for more employees with increased skills in Agribusiness. 

WHY VU?
A certificate in Agribusiness from Vincennes University will prepare you for an entry-level job in the fertilizer industry, in farm management, or even in the seed business.

• You will develop a working knowledge in farm finance, crop production, management techniques, and computer applications.
• Laboratory work will provide you with valuable hands-on experience in pesticide selection, fertilizer planning, calibration of spraying devices, and more.

This program combines new concepts and technology with agriculture basics so you are better prepared for the challenges facing the agriculture industry.  Should you decide to continue your education, the credits you earn will count toward an Associate Degree in Agribusiness.
