This program is designed for students who who have completed a two-year program - or have academic work - in health, health care, business, or a related field. Two year programs (concentration areas) that may be incorporated into the Health Care Management Program include: Associate Degree Nursing, Funeral Service Education, Health Information Management, Massage Therapy, Physical Therapist Assistant, Radiography, Surgical Technology, and Business Administration.
Pre-Admission Requirements
Applicants must :
- be within six credit hours of Junior status before beginning the program.
- have completed all general education requirements for an A.S. degree from an approved accredited college.
- have passed each required course with a C or better.
Admission Requirements
- Meet admission requirements of the University.
- Complete all required general education coursework.
- Possess acceptable health and immunization records.
- Possess satisfactory physical and mental health as evidenced by a licensed physician examination.
- Have an accumulative 2.0 GPA.
Requirements for Health Care Management
- Students must possess and maintain certification in Community CPR.
- Students must provide verification of Hepatitis B inoculation or refusal thereof.
- Students must maintain health insurance coverage.
- Students must supply own transportation to the school and internship sites
This program is highly selective. Admission to the University does not automatically ensure admission into the program. |
