THE VU ADVANTAGE
The R.N. to B.S.N. completion program will prepare the professional nurse for leadership roles in patient care in all healthcare areas. Graduates will be prepared to function with baccalaureate competencies in delivering nursing care and to assist in the improvement of healthcare delivery systems. This program is designed using face-to-face instruction, providing direct contact with experienced nursing faculty in a college setting. Clinical experiences will be one-to-one with experienced nurses in a variety of settings and will be arranged on an individual basis to meet the needs of the student as well as the objectives of the program. Topics covered in the program include health promotion, delivery, diversity, critical thinking, leadership, and technology.
This program will also provide a more convenient option for R.N.s in the local area. Providing the opportunity for an advanced education closer to home. Personal attention and small class sizes are just two of the many reasons to choose VU as you continue your nursing education.
B.S.N. Curriculum-this assumes all general education requirements for an Associate of Science Degree have been met.
