Digital technology has brought tremendous improvements to graphic communications; it has also changed the very nature of the industry. For companies to remain competitive, they must hire well trained, qualified professionals to run their press & pre-press operations. A printing degree from VU can put you in the job you want. It’s a smart move.

AREAS OF STUDY
At Vincennes University students majoring in the Printing will receive hands on instruction on Macintosh and Windows platform. Software includes QuarkXPress, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, pre-flight, trapping and press impositions programs. Students will learn to operate a single, two, and four-color Lithography press and a six-color Flexography press.

JOB PLACEMENT
Each year during the Printing Technology Career Day, printing companies arrive on campus offering jobs to students before graduating. Freshmen students also have summer job offers as well.

Note: Recommended courses are for the A.S. degree and assume any developmental requirements have been met.
