COSTUME CONSTRUCTION 2601

As a student, you can count on work and creativity in Vincennes University 's Costume Construction program.

From transforming yards of material into the skilled interpretation of a   historical gown to placing the right sequins in just the right places, your task will be to create that special theatrical look.

WHAT YOU WILL STUDY

To perfect your skills, your coursework will include:

You will   learn the techniques of measuring, cutting, sewing, and fitting, and then actually participate in the stage productions presented each year by the Theatre Department.

THE VU ADVANTAGE

Without the competition of upper classmen, major positions are open to you, even as a first-semester freshman. The amount of practical experience you will gain during your two years at VU is very rarely available to underclassmen at larger, four-year schools.

Note: Recommended courses assume any necessary developmental requirements have been met.
