Project ASPIREE, a Talent Search Project, is a 100% federally funded TRIO program at $226,600 by the U.S Department of Education.
Project ASPIREE identifies and assists individuals from income eligible backgrounds and/or potential first generation students (neither parent has a four- year college
degree) who have the potential to succeed in higher education. The program provides academic, career, and financial counseling to its participants and encourages them to graduate from high school and continue on to the postsecondary school of their choice.
Project ASPIREE also serves students without high school diplomas by encouraging them to reenter the education system and complete their education. The goal of this Talent Search Project is to increase the number of youths from these backgrounds who complete high school and enroll in post secondary education institutions of their choice.
Project ASPIREE also serves the Southwest Indiana Regional Youth Village
