Credentials

• Recommendation by principal or superintendent.
• Have equal credentials or qualifications as Vincennes University faculty.
• Submit resume and transcripts to Project EXCEL office.
• Credentials will be evaluated by the appropriate Vincennes University department chair and Provost. 

Responsibilities

• Verifies that the high school has adequate facilities and resources to support class.
• Works with Vincennes University mentor to select college-level textbook and develop course outline and syllabus.
• Maintains course content, assignments, and grading standards that meet the academic standards established for the corresponding VU course .
• Participates in all orientation sessions and meets periodically with Vincennes University mentor.
• Attends professional development sessions to learn about changes in curriculum, textbooks, new technologies, and policies and procedures.

Compensation

High school teachers or school corporation receive a stipend based on the number of students in the class.
