Top-ranked Jefferson College defeats Lady Blazers 82-32

HILLSBORO, MO – As if facing top-ranked Jefferson College on the Lady Vikings’ home court wasn’t a daunting enough task, the Vincennes Lady Trailblazers couldn’t seem to pry the lid off the basket Tuesday. The result was an 82-32 loss to Jefferson.

Sophomores Katie Ahaus and Hope Elam led VU with nine points each. MyQueisha Bratton added six points for the Lady Trailblazers, who shot only 24 percent from the floor. VU was 0-for-15 from 3-point range and committed 28 turnovers as Jefferson held the visitors to 11 second-half points.

The Lady Trailblazers (1-2) travel to Lincoln Trail Tuesday. The game will begin at 5:30 p.m. EST.
