2007 is Tina Miller's 24th season as VU women's Volleyball coach. She is the top winner in the history of the program with 741 victories thru the 2006 season.

Last season, the 55-9 Lady Blazers won their first NJCAA Division II District "E" title and advanced the to the National Tournament in Scottsdale, Ariz., where they finished fourth in the nation.

In 2005, the Lady Blazers won a school-record 61 matches.

During her 23 seasons, the Lady Blazers have competed against both two-year schools and varsity programs from four-year colleges. She has guided the Lady Blazers to 22 or more match victories in 20 seasons and has averaged 32 wins a campaign.

 Miller earned a bachelor's degree from Marian College in 1980 and a master's degree from Ball State University in 1983.

Mike Misner

Assistant Coach

Misner joined the coaching staff in 2004. He has outstanding credentials as head coach of the successful Linton-Stockton, Ind., volleyball program.

Misner coached the Lady Miners for nine seasons including five as head coach of the program. Linton-Stockton compiled a 45-6 record from 2002 through the 2004 seasons.

He is founder and director of the Southwestern Setters and Hitters Volleyball power league (SWISH) and has worked summer camps at Ball State University for the past eight years.

Misner and his wife, Lori, have two daughters, Brooke and Brittany. who played two years for the Lady Blazers.
