(One Year) Certificate of Graduation
Upon graduation from the Practical Nursing Program students are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN) to become a Licensed Practical Nurse (L.P.N.)
The aim of the Program is to enable students to develop knowledge of disease processes and prevention, restorative nursing, and the essential competencies needed to assist individuals in achieving an optimum level of wellness in a variety of settings.
The Vincennes University Practical Nursing Program is known for its quality eduction, offering a sound theoretical background for nursing and many hours of clinical practice under the supervision of qualified nursing faculty. Employment opportunities continue to be excellent for graduates of the Program.
The Program begins annually in the Fall semester. Admission is highly competitive; therefore, applicants are encouraged to apply early.
