In the computer networking world, security is a hot button topic these days. In your first year you will study routing and switching in the Cisco Networking Academy. You will also study Microsoft Network operating systems in the Microsoft IT Academy. At the end of your first year you will take the Cisco CCNA certification exam as well as Microsoft certification exams.
