File Naming: The files are organized in directories according to the type of data i.e. (Almanac, Dat, Rinex, Ssf). The file naming convention is as follows: VINUyymmddhh.exe Where "VINU" is the station, "yy" is used to as the year, "mm" is the month, "dd" is the day, and "hh" is the hour in Universal Time Coordinated (UTC).
Data Storage:
Files are normally available on line for 90 days, after which they will be deleted. Data is not archived prior to deletion and is therefore unrecoverable. Users are encouraged to download data as soon as possible. There is a 24 hour latency on files.
To Download Files:
To download the files please follow these steps:
1: Select the file format that you are interested in downloading from the list below:
SSF Data Files
RINEX Data Files
DAT Data Files
ALMANAC Data Files
LOG Data Files
2: Select the file name that you wish to copy to your computer.
3: When asked, specify the location on your hard drive where you want to store the file.
4: Repeat step three until the file(s) are copied to your system.
5: Double click on each file to uncompress it.
You are now ready to use the file(s) for differential correction.
