VU Campus Option

Bachelor of science degree-completion programs offered via a combination of courses offered on the VU campus and distance learning.

  • Business Administration
  • Criminology
  • Human Resource Development

Population Served: Students and graduates of selected associate degree programs offered by VU, Ivy Tech State College, and the Illinois Eastern Community College District.


VU-ISU Transfer Pathways

Transfer (articulation) agreements link over 60 VU degrees-providing seamless bachelor degree-completion pathways for VU students.
All bachelor degree-completion programs are available on the ISU campus.
Selected programs are offered via distance learning and on the VU campus. (See DegreeLink and VU Campus Option.)

Populations Served: (1) High school graduates seeking "2+2" pathways to four-year bachelor degrees; and (2) VU students and graduates of selected VU programs.


VU-ISU Dual/Admission Option

This option allows students to be admitted to VU and ISU simultaneously. Participating students are guaranteed admission to ISU programs for which they are eligible-if the associate degree or technical certificate is completed at VU.

Population Served: High school graduates seeking "2+2" pathway to four-year bachelor degrees.


Consortium Financial Aid Agreement

Students may need to attend VU and ISU simultaneously-and receive aid to cover both schools. To accommodate these students, a Consortium Agreement has been developed. For information, contact the appropriate financial aid office. (VU or ISU).
Population Served: Dually enrolled (VU-ISU) students.

The ISU Enrollment Services Coordinator-located on the VU campus-offers a variety of services for VU staff, students, faculty,,and the surrounding VU community, including:

  • One-stop information on any ISU degree, program, or service
  • Assistance with ISU admission, registration, and student services
  • Liaison for VU-ISU-Community partnerships and initiatives, including new program development, transfer (articulation) agreements, distance learning initiatives, and collaborative student services and support systems.
  • Presentations and sponsorship of campus and community activities
  • Population Served: VU students, faculty, staff, and surrounding VU community

Bridge Back to ISU Program

High school graduates denied admission to ISU is invited to participate in this program. Upon satisfactory completion of 24 semester hours of selected VU course work and other program requirements, these students may reapply for admission to ISU.
Audience Served: Students denied admission to ISU.

  • Educational Partnership Committee (Ivy Tech, VU, and ISU) - a statewide group charged with expanding program articulations and integrating and improving: education programs, student services, student life activities, and technologies.
