Admissions Policy
Vincennes University maintains an open door admissions policy but reserves the right
to deny admission or continuing enrollment based on the individual's ability to benefit from
available educational services. Students applying for admission to Vincennes University through the
Distance Education Program must meet the same eligibiltiy requirements as students enrolling in
campus-based programs.
Academic Requirements
Students are eligible for admission on the basis of graduation from an accredited
high school, successful completion of the General Education Development Test (GED), or transfer in
good standing from an accredited college.
With proper transcripts on file, students may complete up to 12 credit hours prior
to applying for formal admission, but may not complete a program or graduate without being
admitted.

Placement Testing
Students entering Vincennes University's Distance Education Program are required to
complete placment exams (ACCUPLACER or ASSET) in English and Math before registering for classes.
