How to Apply for Housing
  1. Read the Terms and Conditions for 2008-2009. This document will outline deposits, Cancellations, conduct and many areas important to your Housing Contract.  Please read this document and be familiar with its contents.  The Housing Contract will ask you to affirm you have read this information.
  2. Residence Halls and Housing options will answer questions regarding our six residence halls and the different room and hall options available to students.  You may also view a brief description of each Residence Hall ( Clark, Godare , Harrison, Morris , Vanderburgh and Vigo ).  A floor diagram will be attached to each hall site.
  3. Once you have read the Terms and Conditions and viewed Residence Halls and Housing Options, please print the Housing Contract.  This  must be completed and returned with the appropriate deposits/prepayments to the Housing office before a student will receive a room assignment.  Room assignments are mailed in July.  Students are assigned based upon date of payment of the damage deposit and prepayments.  Roommate requests must be mutual.  Both individuals must supply their roommates name and information.  Roommate requests made after July 1st may not be guaranteed.  Students requesting a single room will be required to pay a $375.00 prepayment at the time of filing their contract.  Single rooms are an additional $832.00 per semester over the student’s Room and Board charges. Again, single rooms are assigned based upon date of payment of deposits/prepayments.
  4. A checklist of things to bring is available on the website or through the Housing/Residential Life office.  Suggested computer requirements are also on this card.
  5. FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) are available to answer questions we find many ask.  Any additional questions may be directed to the Housing/Residential Life office at 812-888-4225
