Future Students Housing Acceptance Contract Release Committee
In the event of a drastic change in circumstances beyond the student (lessee/guarantor)’s control,
an application for Contract Release may be filed with the contract release committee. The
$750.00 cancellation fee will be charged if the release is granted. The residential and
financial conditions of the Housing Acceptance Contract shall not be terminated for the student
(lessee) to change his/her place of residence to a private home, Greek house, other housing or to
commute during the period stipulated by the Housing Acceptance Contract. If a student
(lessee) seeks Housing Acceptance Contract release for medical reasons, documentation is required
through the University Health Services Office and student (lessee) physician.
