Vincennes University is located in Vincennes, Indiana , in the Midwestern part of the United States. We are approximately 2 1/2 hours from several metropolitan cities including Indianapolis, Indiana; Louisville, Kentucky; and St. Louis, Missouri. We are part of a rural, historic community of 20,000 that provides a tranquil and safe setting for students attending Vincennes University.

Transportation

Vincennes is serviced by the  Evansville Regional Airport , one hour away (airport code:  E V V).  Ground transportation from Evansville can be arranged by contacting the International Student Advisor at Dwhitmer@vinu.edu or 812-888-4204.

Visas

To obtain an F-1 visa for study in the United States, you must furnish your home country's U.S. consulate with proof of ability to meet educational expenses, along with a certificate of eligibility for a visa application (the I-20 form). An I-20 form will be issued only after you have been admitted and returned a completed Certificate of Financial Responsibility. To download visa forms and review federal regulations concerning non-U.S. citizens please refer to the Immigration and Naturalization Services (INS) web site .
