Academic Requirements
The following TOEFL criteria are applied in assessing student admissibility. Upon completion of
the ESL requirement, students are required to take the College Placement Test before entering
college-level courses.
You must have completed high school and earned a certificate of completion that would
enable you to be admitted to a university in your home country. Your application must include a
translation of your high school transcript.
If you are transferring from another U.S. college, please have the college send your
official transcript to

Vincennes University does not evaluate academic transcripts for students who have
attended academic institutions outside the United States. In order to have your coursework
evaluated for the purpose of obtaining college transfer credit at Vincennes University, you will
need to have your transcript evaluated by a foreign credentials
evaluation service
.
Once you receive the evaluation report from the service, you must send the
report and an original or certified copy of the transcript to:

TOEFL
The following TOEFL criteria will be used to determine the level at which you will
enter the University. All students, even those who have completed an ESL requirement, are required
to take the
College Placement Test
before enrolling in college-level courses.

| 528 or Above (197 CBT) will not have to take ESL classes |
Students with scores below 528 (197 CBT) will be tested for ESL and academic
placement upon their arrival.

- Financial Sponsor's statement
- Financial Sponsor's bank statement showing available funds that exceed the requirement on the
Sponsor's statement
