Tuition for
Military
Education Program on-site classes is $151.00 per credit hour.
Tuition payment for a class is due by the first day of class to be paid to the
Program Coordinator/Instructor in person or by mail. If the Military Tuition Assistance program has
been used to pay a part of the fee, fully completed, approved tuition assistance forms are to be
submitted with the student's payment.
Delinquency in tuition payment results in denial of registration in future classes
and denial of grades and transcript copies.
Vincennes University charges military students no application fees (Navy College
Program Distance Learning Partnership students pay a $20.00 Admissions Application fee) or fees for
initial military experience evaluation for its military students. There is a $30.00 fee to have
military experience re-evaluated or updated after students receive their initial evaluation, if the
student has not taken a VU class for one year or more. A graduation fee of $25.00 is charged and
due with the petition for graduation. Vincennes University does not charge its military students
for transcripts.
The total degree cost varies for the individual student depending on how many of the
required credits are earned through Vincennes University classes (required minimum of 6 credits),
through transference of other college credits or through military credits or CLEP tests.
Textbooks - Vincennes University loans textbooks to military students at site-based
classes at no cost. Tuition for
Distance Education Program
courses (Internet, Independent Study and other delivery modes) is $144.66 per credit. Students must
purchase appropriate course
textbooks
and supplies for each class.
