Vincennes University awards credit for college-level testing with the American
Council on Education (ACE) recommended passing scores.
CLEP
CLEP is the most widely accepted credit-by-examination program in the United States today,
allowing students of all ages to earn college degrees faster by getting credit for what they
already know.
General Examinations
The CLEP General Examinations consists of five tests: English Composition; Social Science
& History; Natural Sciences; Humanities; and College Mathematics. The test cover material
usually taught in most freshman and sophomore college courses.
Subject Examinations
The CLEP Subject Examinations measure knowledge of basic concepts, principles,
relationships, and applications involved in college courses with the similar title.
DANTES
The DANTES Subject Standardized Testing Program is an extensive series of examinations in
college subjects that are compatible to the final or end-of-course examination in undergraduate
courses.
