In order to keep abreast of the current technologies and methodologies used in industry today, Vincennes University strives to create and maintain partnerships with leaders in business and industry.

One such partnership is with Haas Automation. Through a grant provided by the Lilly Endowment and the generosity of Haas Automation the Haas Technical Education Center was created and located in the Technology Center on the VU campus. This partnership positions the VU Machine Trades Program at the cutting-edge of hands-on CAD/CAM/CNC training. Students are fully prepared to enter the workplace at an advanced level with a Vincennes University degree in Advanced Manufacturing.

Because of this partnership, businesses and industries are asking our students to collaborate on real-life CNC projects, thus students are exposed to the demands of the real world. Not only do students learn theory, they learn how to apply it.

Other partnerships include: Tooling Suppliers such as Kennametal, EROWA, Quality Mill, Niagra; Software suppliers such as Mastercam and Oxygen Education; Other Industries such as Crane (through Jacqmain Machine), Gemtron, Loughmiller Machine, and the Society of Manufacturing Engineers.
