Vincennes University maintains an "Open Door" admissions policy.

Students are eligible for admission:

1. on the basis of graduation with a diploma (a certificate of completion is not sufficient) from accredited high schools.
2. successful completion of the General Education Development Test (GED).
3. transfer in good standing from accredited colleges.
4. accredited Internet high schools
5. schools which are not yet accredited
6. home schooling programs

Upon applying to VUJC, applicants must

1. submit an application (online or print and complete)
2. official transcripts(high school and/or previous colleges attended)
3. a twenty dollar non-refundable application processing fee.
4. additional documents may be required.
