Education Programs at VU Jasper Campus:
A.S. Elementary Education
Education – A.S. Transfer Programs
This program provides the first two years of nineteen teacher education programs and
concentrations that can lead to teacher licensing. These correspond to the teacher license content
and developmental areas as listed in Rules 2002 and can be transferred to other institutions of
higher education.
B.S. Special Education, Mild Intervention
This dual licensure program is designed to prepare candidates to teach students who
require mild special education interventions within the K-6 classroom setting and to teach all
basic school subjects in the elementary education classroom.
