The mission of the Counseling Center is to help each student develop fully and get the most from the college experience. The Counseling Center is committed to assisting students with the wide variety of personal difficulties and concerns that can interfere with academic success and progress. We offer a range of psychological counseling, therapy, and outreach consultation services to the University community. We are aware of the special concerns of women and men and are sensitive to race, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, religious preference and disabilities. The services of the Counseling Center are professional, confidential, voluntary and free of cost to most enrolled students.
