The Office of Disability Services is committed to providing equivalent educational opportunities
to students with disabilities by making the Vincennes University campus, programs, and services
accessible. Students with any type of documented disability may receive support from this
office.
The Office of Disability Services:
- Maintains disability related documents,
- Certifies eligibility for services, and
- Determines reasonable accommodations.
In partnership with students, faculty, and staff our purpose is to achieve an educational
environment where students with disabilities have the opportunity to achieve academic, career and
personal goals.
Academic accommodations and services are provided on an individual basis determined by
documented need. Documentation, completed by a qualified professional, must be on file in the

Act (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act to assure the rights of individuals with
disabilities to fair, non-discriminatory treatment.
