Wondering how to help your community in this time of need? Philanthropy includes many ways of getting involved and doing good for the causes you care about. Join this presentation to find out how Blazers can give, right now and throughout your life. You may even discover that you are already a philanthropist!

Dr. Genevieve Shaker is an associate professor in the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at IUPUI. She teaches courses on giving and volunteering in America, celebrity philanthropy, fundraising, and grant making. Professor Shaker has received awards for teaching and research as well as for contributing to the community, including being selected for the Indianapolis Business Journal’s “Forty Under 40”. She volunteers with the American Red Cross Indiana Region, the Indianapolis Children’s Museum, and St. Vincent de Paul’s Boulevard Place Food Pantry.
