Trailblazer Scholarship Fund - The VU Foundation awarded a record $1.4 million scholarship dollars of VU Foundation and University funds for the 2015-2016 school year to incoming and returning VU students.  

These included awards to students from 10 states across the country and 4 international awards.  

Currently the VU Foundation manages over 540 scholarship and department funds, with 259 new funds created in just the last 10 years.

The Kay Yow Cancer Fund, in partnership with the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) and The V Foundation, is a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization committed to being a part of finding an answer in the fight against women's cancers through raising money for scientific research, assisting the underserved and unifying people for a common cause.

Scoring Duo of Tisdale & Clemons Lead #3 Vincennes University to Win Over Lewis and Clark

Godfrey, IL – Sophomore Isaiah Tisdale and freshman Keith Clemons combined for 47 points in the #3 Trailblazers 102-60 victory over Lewis and Clark.

Vincennes jumped on Lewis and Clark early and continued to roll to a 51 – 31 half-time lead. The Trailblazers shot an outstanding 50% from the field in the first 20 minutes. VU finished off the wire-to-wire victory by outscoring Lewis and Clark by 22 points in the second half. Vincennes’ defense stepped up big in this game forcing Lewis and Clark to commit 18 turnovers, and out-rebounded them by 40 – 19 rebounds, while only giving up 3 being offensive rebounds.

Isaiah Tisdale was Vincennes’ leading scorer with 25 points, 7 assists, and 5 rebounds. Keith Clemons used a 5 of 6 3-point shooting night to get 22 points. Sophomore Rade Kukobat set a new season-high with 14 points, and freshman Lony Francis, Jr. rounded out the VU players to reach double-figures in points with 10 points and 7 rebounds.

The Trailblazers return to action this Saturday, January 20th, when the host Lake Land College. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. eastern.
