Trailblazer Scholarship Fund - The VU Foundation awarded a record $1.4 million scholarship dollars of VU Foundation and University funds for the 2015-2016 school year to incoming and returning VU students.  

These included awards to students from 10 states across the country and 4 international awards.  

Currently the VU Foundation manages over 540 scholarship and department funds, with 259 new funds created in just the last 10 years.

The Kay Yow Cancer Fund, in partnership with the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) and The V Foundation, is a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization committed to being a part of finding an answer in the fight against women's cancers through raising money for scientific research, assisting the underserved and unifying people for a common cause.

At VU, we believe sports play an important role in the overall purpose of an educational institution. We support a well-rounded intercollegiate sports program for both men and women and have a strong presence in the NJCAA where we can claim several national championships. But we are equally proud of our individual All-American and All-American Academic athletes who have used their talent to continue their education at four-year colleges.

Top-ranked VU Trailblazers blow out Score Academy, 115-62

The NJCAA No. 1 Vincennes Trailblazers routed Score Academy by a 115-62 score Saturday night at the VU P.E. Comlex to improve to 15-0 on the season.

Sophomore Donte' McGill scored 26 points on 9-for-13 shooting - including a 3-for-6 performance from 3-point land. He also hit 5-of-6 at the free throw line. Sophomore Mychal Mulder also had three treys as part of his 18 points and sophomores A.J. Patty and Charles Foster finished with 15 and 13 points, respectively. In addition, sophomore guard Everett Clemons contributed eight points, eight rebounds, five assists and two steals.

VU shot 50 percent (41-of-82) for the game overall and 45.8 (11-for-24) percent from beyond the arc. The Trailblazers also hit 22-of-28 free throws.

The Trailblazers, who scored 60 first half points to lead 60-27 at the break, also took very good care of the ball, committing only seven turnovers.

VU will return to action and NJCAA District 16 competition on Wednesday when the Trailblazers host John A. Logan at 7 p.m. and the VU women host JAL at 5 p.m.
