The Kay Yow Cancer Fund, in partnership with the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) and The V Foundation, is a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization committed to being a part of finding an answer in the fight against women's cancers through raising money for scientific research, assisting the underserved and unifying people for a common cause.

Vincennes University Men’s Basketball to Offer Summer Shootout & Skills Camps

Vincennes, IN – The Vincennes University Men’s Basketball team will be offering their shootout camp for: middle school aged campers (grades 6-8) on June 8th, session 1 for varsity & junior varsity athletes on June 9th, and session 2 for varsity and junior varsity athletes on June 10th.

The shootouts will be held in the VU P.E. Complex. Cost for attendance is $200 for one team, $375 for two teams, and a deposit of $50 is required. The camp will include a four-games in which players will scrimmage against other high schools from all over the mid-west, as well as sharpen their skills heading into the season.

The Trailblazers will also be offering an individual skills camp for boys on June 16th-June 18th. Cost of attendance for the boy’s camp is $175 for parents planning for their child to commute back and forth, $215 if the camper plans to stay in the dorms & eat meals at the Tecumseh Dining Center. A $50 deposit is also required to attend the boys camp. Register at the P.E. Complex between 8:30 a.m. & 9:30 a.m. on June 16th at the front entrance. Campers that will be staying overnight will also receive dorm assignments at that time.

Finally, an offensive skills camp for boys and girls, grades 3-10, will be offered July 6th-8th. Cost to attend the camp is $110, and that price includes meals provided at the Tecumseh Dining Center on Wednesday & Thursday, along with a camp t-shirt. Campers are asked to register between 8:30 & 9:00 a.m. on July 6th at the front of the VU P.E. Complex.

Scholarship Fund

Trailblazer Scholarship Fund - The VU Foundation awarded a record $1.4 million scholarship dollars of VU Foundation and University funds for the 2015-2016 school year to incoming and returning VU students.  

These included awards to students from 10 states across the country and 4 international awards.  

Currently the VU Foundation manages over 540 scholarship and department funds, with 259 new funds created in just the last 10 years.
