VU Trailblazers continue as No. 1 in latest NJCAA D-1 rankings

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - There were no changes in the NJCAA’s top five teams in this week’s Div. I Men’s Basketball National Poll – including, of course – the Vincennes Trailblazers’ hold on the No. 1 spot.

The Trailblazers, after adding two more victories to run their season record to 17-0, held on the top slot to preserve their season-long and preseason standing there.

VU is followed again by Northwest Florida State (18-0), College of Southern Idaho (20-0), Butler (17-0) and Hill (16-1) in the first five teams in the rankings. The second five are Connors State (15-1), Eastern Florida State (18-1), Southwest Tennessee (12-1), Indian Hills (16-2) and Mineral Area (19-1).

The Trailblazers will travel to Southeastern Illinois on Saturday for a tip-off at about 4 p.m. EST.
