Scholarship Fund Scholarship Fund

Trailblazer Scholarship Fund - The VU Foundation awarded a record $1.4 million scholarship dollars of VU Foundation and University funds for the 2015-2016 school year to incoming and returning VU students.  

These included awards to students from 10 states across the country and 4 international awards.  

Currently the VU Foundation manages over 540 scholarship and department funds, with 259 new funds created in just the last 10 years.

The Kay Yow Cancer Fund, in partnership with the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) and The V Foundation, is a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization committed to being a part of finding an answer in the fight against women's cancers through raising money for scientific research, assisting the underserved and unifying people for a common cause.

We support a well-rounded intercollegiate sports program for both men and women and have a strong presence in the NJCAA where we can claim several national championships. VU Women's Basketball blasts Lindsey Wilson, 90-25, on the road

COLUMBIA, Ky. - The Vincennes University Women's Basketball Team dismantled Lindsey Wilson for the second time this season when the Trailblazers routed the host Blue Raiders, 90-25, Monday night in Columbia, KY.

The Trailblazers defeated Lindsey Wilson, 104-32, on Nov. 3 at the VU P.E. Complex.

In Monday's victory that improved VU to 8-0 as every member of the VU roster scored, sophomore Nicole Dodd scored 17 points (partially fueled by three 3-pointers), sophomore Tasia Brewer had 11 and sophomore Anais Kirvan and freshman Jeanier Olukemi both had nine points. Kirvan also had 11 rebounds, while freshman Jesheon Cooper finished with nine boards. In addition, Dodd had four steals and freshman Chelsea Bentley pilfered three steals.

VU led 46-14 at halftime and cruised to the victory with the help of a 47-20 rebounding advantage and seven 3-pointers. The Trailblazers also registered 19 steals.

VU will travel to Lincoln Trail Wednesday night for the first game of a men's-women's doubleheader vs. the host Statesmen. The Trailblazer women will tip off at 6:30 p.m. ("Vincennes time") and the VU men will take the floor vs. Lincoln Trail at about 8:30 p.m.
