The Kay Yow Cancer Fund, in partnership with the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) and The V Foundation, is a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization committed to being a part of finding an answer in the fight against women's cancers through raising money for scientific research, assisting the underserved and unifying people for a common cause.

VU Women's Basketball trounces Three Rivers, 90-52

Sophomore Tasia Brewer scored 19 points and freshman Jeanier Olukemi turned in an 11-point, nine-rebound, eight-assist effort to lead the Vincennes University Women's Basketball Team to a 90-52 trouncing of visiting Three Rivers Tuesday night at the VU P.E. Complex.

VU also got 13 points from sophomore Nicole Dodd and 11 points from freshman Brooke Dossett.

It was yet another game that was decided by halftime as the Trailblazers (18-2) got out to a 48-21 lead at the midway point and hit 11 3-pointers to make the final result a foregone conclusion en route to their sixth straight win. VU registered a 53-36 rebounding advantage and the Trailblazers had 21 assists as a team.

VU will head to Kaskaskia on Saturday for a 2 p.m. ("Vincennes time") tip-off, to be followed by the VU men vs. Kaskaskia at about 4 p.m.

Scholarship Fund

Trailblazer Scholarship Fund - The VU Foundation awarded a record $1.4 million scholarship dollars of VU Foundation and University funds for the 2015-2016 school year to incoming and returning VU students.  

These included awards to students from 10 states across the country and 4 international awards.  

Currently the VU Foundation manages over 540 scholarship and department funds, with 259 new funds created in just the last 10 years.
