The mission of the Vincennes University Physics program is to expose students to the properties and interrelationships of matter and energy. The physics courses and laboratories allow undergraduate students to gain critical thinking, analysis, and mathematical skills appropriate to the level of the course. The physics courses fulfill major program, liberal education, or laboratory science requirements as appropriate to the major.
Program Learning Outcomes Students who complete course work in the Physics program will be able to:
apply critical thinking and analytical skills to solve scientific problems.
demonstrate an understanding of core knowledge in physics.
