Three years experience as a staff nurse at Daviess Community Hospital where he was also named the 2021 Inpatient Nurse of the Year. This experience includes inpatient rehabilitation, medical/surgical and critical care nursing. Mr. Sama continues to work at the bedside on an "as needed" basis.

Mr. Sama has just started his teaching career. However, as nurses, we are always providing education to patients and their families. Mr. Sama teaches both in the LPN and ASN RN programs. Mr. Sama believes that building exceptional nurses begins with education. He is excited to prepare students to provide safe and effective care. Mr. Sama encourages students to study hard, do good, and then the good life will follow.
