VINCENNES, Ind. - A variety of blues and classic rock music will ring throughout Vincennes University’s Jefferson Student Union on Oct. 5 when Vincennes University’s Department of Music will present a Blues Night Coffee House at 8 p.m. (EDT). Admission is free and the public is invited to attend.

Music selections will range from David Bowe to Zac Brown and Metallica to Stevie Wonder. The performance will feature students in VU Music's Advanced Guitar Class, Blues Ensemble, and String Ensemble.

Student performers include Heather Abel and Sam Renner, Vincennes; Tyler Bynum and Chester Qualkenbush, Oaktown; Brian Buchanan, Washingnton; John Tonello, Terre Haute; Rachel Walker, South Bend; Shania Webb, Camby; Robert Duncan, Indianapolis; Wes Totten, Garret; and Monte Bluebaum, Dayton, Ohio.

Guest performers include Chris Coatney, Doug Hawf, Tonia Hawf, Alex Hawf, Kaelyn Klopfenstein, Emma Kotter, Judith Miller, Adie Niehaus, Nate Rolijk, Lucile Simmons, and Robert Trail.

Jefferson Student Union is located on Chestnut, adjacent to the P.E. Complex.
