February 20, 2020 / Vincennes University Department of Music presents “Ol’ Blues Eyes:  A Frank Sinatra Revue”

VINCENNES, Ind. - The Vincennes University Department of Music will present “Ol’ Blues Eyes:  A Frank Sinatra Revue” on Sunday, March 1, at 4 p.m. EST in the Red Skelton Performing Arts Center Theatre.

The event is free, and the public is invited to attend. Doors open at 3:30 pm.

The choral concert will feature members of the Vincennes University Concert Choir and VU Connection choral ensemble, under the direction of VU choral director Dr. Jennifer Harris; the VU Woodwind Ensemble, under the direction of H. Joyce Kim-Rohrer; and special guest singers Doren Rhea and Wayden Wagoner from Loogootee High School.

The performance will incorporate solo and ensemble arrangements of songs made popular by Frank Sinatra. Musical selections will include “Come Fly with Me”, The Way You Look Tonight”, “I’ve Got the World on a String”, “Fly Me to the Moon”, “Over the Rainbow”, “Blues in the Night”, “The Lady is a Tramp”, “I’ll Be Seeing You”, “I Love You, Baby”, “Night and Day”, and “New York, New York”.

The Red Skelton Performing Arts Center Theatre is located at 20 Red Skelton Blvd. on the VU campus.
