RTV6 is shining the spotlight on VU in two stories: “Robots
are on the rise in the workplace, but that isn’t necessarily a bad
thing” and “Career
center in Johnson County preparing students for careers in high demand.”
VU’s Ty Freed, dean of the College of Technology, and Jerry
Ruble, director of the ABB Robotics Lab and Industrial Maintenance
Training, are featured prominently in the robotics story. Freed
explains the role of robots in the workplace while Ruble shares how VU
is training students to work on the equipment.
RTV6 highlighted the Central Nine Career Center in Greenwood
