Of many things, I really appreciated that the two Ag teachers that I had were very understanding and always helpful. I felt comfortable asking them for help or advice, whether it was school related or not. I could also tell they put a lot of hard work into our classes and tried to make them as interactive as possible to keep us students engaged. Most importantly, I actually use the skills I learned in the ag classes in my day to day life. For example, learning how to grow my own food on a budget or how to make a homemade greenhouse to grow produce over the winter. Overall, I am very thankful I chose to go the Agribusiness and horticulture route at VU!
