Ryli Bobbitt tied Alison Smith for the team lead with 3 blocks in a match that saw a shortage of blocking opportunities.

VU Coach Gary Sien says . . .
“We cut down a lot of our errors. We are always our worst enemy with errors and anytime you can limit your mistakes you are doing much better. Limiting errors today helped us play a little more controlled game in both matches. Lauren McCrary had a good day controlling the game whether it’s setting, serving or on defense, she definitely put up some good numbers today. Alison Smith hit extremely well in both matches” Sien liked how his team bounced back after facing set point for JJC in Set 2 down 22-24, “It all started with a great serve on a crucial play by Ryleigh Fidler, which led to an overpass by Joliet when Metzger buried it straight down and we went on a 4-0 run to win the set.”
