VU Trailblazer Baseball to offer youth camp December 10 for ages 6-13

The Vincennes University Baseball Team will host a youth camp for ages 6-13
on Saturday, Dec. 10, at VU’s Beless Gymnasium. The gym is located on
campus at Indianapolis Avenue and Chestnut Street.

The all-day camp is a great opportunity for children to be under the
tutelage of the Trailblazer Baseball coaching staff, who will cover all
aspects of the game: hitting, pitching/catching and defense. Camp will run
from 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. and will include a pizza party for lunch, as well
as a camp T-shirt.

Early Registration (with a fee of $55) is open until Saturday December 3.
After that date, the fee is $60 (Take 10 percent off if your family sends
more than one sibling to camp. For more than 2 siblings, call Assistant
Coach Cole Vicars at 812-870-7481 or 812-888-4957).

**Please print the attached registration form and mail it to VU Baseball at
the address on the form. Make checks payable to: Vincennes University

The Vincennes University Athletic Department hosts Play4Kay and raises donations for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund annually. VU Women’s Basketball Coach and Athletic Director Harry Meeks has a special connection to the late Yow, who was the longtime coach at North Carolina State. He had the pleasure of meeting her while he was an assistant coach at Western Carolina University. This left a lasting impression on him and made this cause important to him and the Trailblazers.
