Want to follow the Trailblazers in the NJCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship?

The 2019 NJCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship is March 18-23 in Hutchinson, Kansas.
The third-seeded Trailblazers open with a second-round game tonight at 7:00 p.m. EDT. They will play No. 14 seed Moberly Area.

THU 3/21 - 9:00 p.m. EDT / 8:00 p.m. CT · VU Quarterfinal* 
FRI 3/22 - 8:00 p.m EDT / 7:00 p.m. CT · VU Semifinal*
SAT 3/23 - 2:00 p.m. EDT / 1:00 p.m. CT · National Championship*
*Tentative game schedule. Requires win in previous round.
There are a variety of options available for you to follow every minute of tournament action. 

·    Listen to live radio broadcasts on Blazer WVUB 91.1 FM or stream online at

·    Join the Vincennes University campus community and watch live NJCAA TV broadcasts of each VU game in Jefferson Union.

·    All tournament games except the championship will stream live on NJCAA TV at NJCAA TV is a subscription-based streaming service that offers several subscription plans.
o    A Single Broadcast Pass costs $4.99. 
o    A Championship Season Pass costs $14.99 and provides access to all championship broadcasts from Fall, Winter or Spring. 
o    A pass for the full 2018-19 year costs $39.99.

·    The championship game will air on CBS Sports Network.

The Vincennes University Athletic Department hosts Play4Kay and raises donations for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund annually. VU Women’s Basketball Coach and Athletic Director Harry Meeks has a special connection to the late Yow, who was the longtime coach at North Carolina State. He had the pleasure of meeting her while he was an assistant coach at Western Carolina University. This left a lasting impression on him and made this cause important to him and the Trailblazers.

NJCAA spring sport cancellation

The NJCAA announced on March 16 the cancellation of all spring sport competition and all upcoming basketball championships, effective immediately, due to the evolving COVID-19 situation. Spring competition includes all practices, regular season, postseason, and national championship play.

Scholarship Fund

Trailblazer Scholarship fund - The VU foundation awarded $970,242.80 scholarship dollars of the VU Foundation and University funds for the 2017-18 school year to incoming and returning VU students.  These included awards to students from 8 states across the country and 3 international awards.

The VU Foundation currently manages over 525 scholarship and department funds, with 247 news funds created in just the last 9 years.
